10. You spend a 1/2 hour explaining your revisions (another $200). Your lawyer advises you against some of your ideas, but is fine with other suggestions you make. You agree to follow the advice. The meeting ends with “you’ll have the final prenuptial agreement in a week.”
11. Again, your attorney delivers as promised and you have the final draft of the prenuptial agreement in 7 days. You review it carefully over the following 4 days.
12. Also enclosed in the prenuptial agreement is the bill from the lawyer. 2 hours of office time and 3 hours for preparation. That’s 5 hours at $400 totalling $2,000.

In sum, it took 32 days to get your final signing copy of your prenuptial agreement costing you $2,000 plus taxes.
